INSPYR Solutions is seeking a Global IT Security Specialist for our client in Youngstown, OH. Qualified candidates should send their resume to Taylor Kast at The Security Specialist will serve as part of the Global Security & Network Operations team focusing on cyber security throughout the group. The security professional is responsible for maintaining the global security standards of the group acting as a subject matter expert to ensure security compliance, additionally participating in security projects when applicable.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following :
- Enforces security guidelines developed by CISO (Chief Information Security Officer)
- Ensures security of infrastructure against potential breaches
- Contribute to the management and resolution of security related incidents
- Assist in delivering security project within the group
- Contribute to security diagnosis and recommendations on projects (for application and infrastructure)
- Manage efficiently the Problems and Incidents
- Capitalize systematically the knowledge on Security Incidents and Problems resolution
- Increase the global security awareness inside the group
- Surveillance and advocacy on Information Systems and Workstations
- Perform maintenance and administration of security technologies based on group guidelines
- Conduct continuous screening, evaluate the risks, ensure they are prioritized, and appropriate countermeasures are implemented
- Evaluate emerging security technologies and provide recommendations to strengthen the information security environment
- Participate in security audits conducted during the year
- Ensure Information System complies with Global IT (Information Technology) regulations
- Manage security related incidents
- Resolve Security-related incidents on Industrial Information Systems and Workstations
- Analyze malware programs, propose and implement protection tools and processes
- Contribute to Crisis cell when required
- Security Awareness
- Prepare and perform Security Awareness actions (communication, training, etc.)
