We are OTR company looking for qualified candidate to join our growing team.This is a key operations position were you will be required to negotiate price,have good customer service skills and handle potential problems.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Use freight booking platform to book loads
-Negotiate freight rates
-Proactive shipment tracking and broker alerts for anticipated scheduling delays
-Maintain strong relationships with customers and drivers
-Participate in on-call, after hours and weekend duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
-At least 1-year experience
-Fluent in English speaking and writing skills, additional languages a plus.
-One year of previous logistics experience
-Office hours are Mon to Fri 7am to 5pm (or work from home)
-Multitasking skills
-Fundamental knowledge of transportation and routing in US and Canada
-Ability to work individually and as a part of a team
