A bit about us:Designs, manufacture, and service cooling towers for the ethanol energy and process industries.ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:- Designs, develops, and implements plant processes, fiberglass components, or support systems.
- Creates 3D drawings from engineering I design projects I prepares installation drawings.
- Revise and update existing drawings reflecting design changes from field inspection sketches or notes.
- Review blueprints, plans, specifications, and other customer documentation for complete and accurate information.
- Ability to work as part of cross functional department teams in resolving issues as well as generating new ideas.
- Ability to create and manage project Gantt charts for large design projects.
- Maintain notes, design calculations and other documentation (bill of materials, list of design parameters).
- Evaluates drawings for ability to standardize parts and improve overall drafting workflow.
- Able to manage drafters with respect to specific projects along with training and implement new procedures.
- Conducts research to produce design solutions, improvements, and new products.
- Assists project engineers in the preparation of plans, designs, computation methods and reports.
