Find your future with us.The Boeing Company is looking for an Entry Level Industrial Engineer to join our team in Oklahoma City, OK and will be reporting to the Production/Industrial Engineering manager.This Entry Level Industrial Engineer will be working with our modification supplier on day shift supporting our operations customers within an Industrial Engineering capacity.Boeing is the world's largest aerospace company and leading manufacturer of commercial airplanes and defense, space and security systems. Applies basic industrial engineering concepts, approaches and techniques to product, process and services to meet program requirements.

Supports the validation of plant and equipment layouts, capacity plans, accident prevention measures, sequencing of operations and work flows.

Participates in the evaluation of new techniques and technological developments for integration into the production process and service operations.

Assists with validating design and optimization of the production system by integrating design, supply base, facilities, equipment, and personnel.

Conducts basic work flow design and analysis.

Develops simple models, databases and spreadsheets to analyze data and provides summary analysis and metrics for consultation to leaders.

Supports research, design, develop, improve, and implementation of processes and tools to enhance schedule performance, lower cost, and improve quality, for large scale systems integration and asset utilization.

Supports validation of implementation plans and programs for facility/factory modifications and revisions to operating methods.

Supports the preparation of operations plans, includes work statement analysis, budgeting and forecasts, capacity and constraint analysis and production change, to ensure technical goals and objectives are met.

Supports modification execution planning by using project management, planning and scheduling and shop load practices.

Provides modification, performance visibility and recovery planning support.

Follows compliance requirements with established industry safety, design standards and ergonomic guidelines.

In addition, support of other programs and/or “Core Industrial Engineering” capacities when needed.

This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post-Start is required.Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

Possess a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Robotics Engineering

This position requires up to 10% domestic and international travel to company worksites

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills and Experience):

Experience using the Aurora constraint based scheduling tool

Typical Education & Experience:Education/experience typically acquired through advanced technical education from an accredited course of study in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry (e.g. Bachelor) or an equivalent combination of technical education and experience.
