The purpose of this position is to analyze requests for software and technology across the company.

RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Performing business analysis tasks
    • Understanding the need
    • Documenting a business case
    • Gathering requirements
    • Evaluating software and technology solutions
    • Facilitating risk, legal, desktop, server reviews
    • Supporting requests through the capital committee process
    • Executing purchase orders
  • Implements software and technology in a safe and secure manner to increase the effectiveness and productivity of requesting department
    • Supports project managers and team members in project execution
  • Leads discussions with department leaders and stakeholders across the company to understand software and technology needs
  • Engages executives on software decisions
  • Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential
  • Plays BA role on various projects
  • Leads small team of BAs on large projects

Miscellaneous:
  • Attends meetings and serves on committees as requested
  • Performs additional duties and assignments as requested

Education:
  • Bachelors degree in Information Science, Business Administration, or related discipline

Experience Required:
  • 8-12 years of relevant business analysis experience
  • 5+ years of relevant IT experience

  • Business Analyst Certification
  • Ability to manage stakeholders and facilitate complex conversations
  • Ability to lead small team of business analysts
  • Ability to lead projects
  • Advanced understanding of business analyst work
  • Ability to gather requirements, evaluate software, and improve processes
  • Ability to evaluate system solutions, system functionality, data requirements, workflows, architecture, and security specifications to determine the right solution
  • Ability to work service requests, tasks, and projects
  • Ability to document business requirements and business processes
  • Ability to work with software vendors
  • Demonstrates the interpersonal skills required to successfully work in a team environment
  • Communicates effectively across a variety of stakeholder groups
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Can easily adapt and learn new software systems and technology
  • Must demonstrate a commitment to continuous learning and mentoring
  • Ability to interpret laws, regulations, policies and procedures to facilitate decision-making
  • Must possess proficiency in MS Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, Visio)
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings
