In this role you will; maintain, update, execute, and verify processes run on mainframe and server based technologies to run customer, inquiry, and third party data files through in-house and third party software for Merge/Purge ETL, USPS Postal Qualification, and CCM Imaging File Creation for the printing of Globe Life Direct Mail solicitations at the GMS and AIMS facilities in a deadline driven environment with continuous multiple concurrent projects.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities;

  • Develop JCL Job Streams for Merge / Purge ETL processes from Written Instructions for Direct Mail Solicitations
  • Use in-house and third party software to meet USPS mailing standards for CASS, NCOA, PAVE, and Post-Presort Sortation
  • Validate Data Integrity & Accuracy of Production Processing & Distribute Outputs
  • Perform & Verify Maintenance of Reference Files from Internal & External Partners
  • Test Accuracy of Programming Updates
  • Document Job Streams & Balancing Procedures
  • Maintain Tracking Spreadsheets for Multiple Systems
  • Coordinate Special Processing & Tests with Programming, Campaign Design, & Operations Departments
  • Deploy Production for JCL & Programs Developed by Programming
  • Responsible for Multiple Systems with Regular Critical Deadlines

Required Skills:
  • Strong understanding of Data Processing concepts to include Merge / Purge ETL job flows preferred but not required.
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office products (mainly Excel, Access, Word and Outlook).
  • Strong analytical, problem solving, and research skills.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with experience in meeting deadlines.
  • Ability to handle multiple concurrent detailed projects, and to quickly shift priorities as needed.
  • Self-motivated, detail oriented, and consistently thorough.
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills (both written and oral).

Required Experience:
  • College or Technical School classes in IT subjects and/or similar work experience preferred.
