An Oklahoma utility company is looking for a systems security analyst. This is a hybrid role, so the candidate must be local to the Oklahoma City, OK area.Description:A Security Patching Professional is responsible for ensuring the security of an organization's computer systems and networks by installing and maintaining software updates and patches. Key responsibilities include:
Identifying and prioritizing security vulnerabilities in systems and networks.
Evaluating and testing software patches to ensure compatibility and effectiveness.
Scheduling and implementing security patches and updates on a regular basis.
Documenting and maintaining records of all installed patches and updates.
Communicating with technical teams to resolve any issues that arise during the patching process.
Staying up-to-date with the latest security threats and trends, and recommending new security measures as needed.
Collaborating with other members of the IT security team to develop and maintain security policies and procedures.
A familiarity with Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, SCCM, WSUS, NESSUS, and Ivanti.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background , including experience with network and system administration, as well as experience in security patch management and an understanding of security best practices.
