Established in 1984, Free to Live Animal Sanctuary is the largest nonprofit, no-kill animal sanctuary in Oklahoma. Whether they are strays, abused, mistreated, neglected or extreme medical cases - all of the dogs and cats at the sanctuary live out their lives with love, companionship and a sense of family from dedicated staff and volunteers.
The sanctuary started as just a dream in the 80s for founders Bill and Pat Larson. This was long before animal welfare was prominent in Oklahoma. They purchased 20 acres of land, and with the help of a handful of dedicated volunteers brought Free to Live Animal Sanctuary to fruition. The sanctuary has since saved thousands of Oklahoma animals.
We are now seeking a weekend receptionist to work from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
The primary responsibility of the Receptionist is to answer the phones and help coordinate volunteers and adoptions on property.
Other duties include:
- Office Housekeeping
- Provide care for dogs in the office
- Data Entry
The receptionist must also have strong verbal skills and be able to interact with the public on a daily basis.
The receptionist reports directly to the office manager.
