Position Summary
Responsible for the daily operation of the car wash, maintaining car wash chemicals, emptying trash containers and ensuring the equipment is operating correctly. Performs a variety of routine and preventative maintenance. Displays a service oriented, customer focused attitude in a professional work environment.
Position responsibilities:
Must have reliable transportation, this position would require traveling to several car wash locations.
Ensure vehicles follow the posted guidelines and non-standard or excessively dirty vehicles do not enter the car wash
Maintains appropriate car wash chemical levels. Follows all safety guidelines, policies and procedures including proper handling of hazardous materials.
Cleans trash out of the car wash bay and pressure washes the equipment, floor and walls as necessary
Empties trash cans and vacuum stations
Ensure equipment is operating properly and reports any issues to the property manager
Opens or closes the facility and follows appropriate checklists to ensure it is performed correctly
Keeps area clean and presentable consistent of a first-class facility
Other responsibilities as assigned
Ability to lift 50+ pounds
Minimum Qualifications
High school diploma or GED
1 to 3 years prior work experience
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The employee is occasionally exposed to extreme heat or cold, toxic or caustic chemicals and risk of electric shock.
