This is unique work that is construction related. We build and install custom storm coverings for stained glass windows for church's. It's some of the easiest "construction" you'll ever do, but is detail oriented. If you have couple of years of construction experience, can read a tape measure, can use a chop saw, have some paint-prep and painting experience and can operate a skill saw, those are the basic skills required. If you can operate a man lift safely, that's a plus, and if you can solder lead professionally, that's a big plus.
Benefits of this job- the work is endless; Fair pay with upward mobility. Our top earner is paid 43.00 per hour, he started a 20.00 5 years ago.
Down side of this job- travel. If your married and/or have children, this job is not for you. Your away from home a lot. If your single and trying to build up your savings, and don't mind being away from home 1-3 weeks at a time, you might like this job.
Ideal candidate will have two years construction experience, reliable transportation, be honest and punctual, and nonsmoker with no drug/alcohol issues, not afraid of heights, able to work comfortably off of ladders, scaffolding, and out of a man lift basket.
