- ABLE TO SOURCE NEW PARTS, AND MANAGE PARTS INVENTORY!
As a Parts Specialistwith Christian Brothers Automotive, you are the person that our service advisors and technicians look to for parts expertise.
Our parts specialist is responsible for sourcing parts for large and complex jobs, and is empowered to make decisions on what brands to use, to ensure that the parts will last the duration of our industry leading warranty of 3 years / 36,000 miles whichever benefits our guest the most.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Assisting the service advisors in building tickets and conveying parts availability for scheduling purposes.
- Reconcile all parts orders, deliveries, and invoices
- Selecting parts that will last the duration of our warranty, while maintaining profitability goals.
- Manage parts returns and inventory levels.
- Return all cores and ensure credits
- Execute and receive Parts Warranty claims
- Maintain a positive attitude and team atmosphere at all times.
- Use the phone in a professional manner, always with the intention of creating a long term relationship between the store, yourself and the customer.
- To act in a professional manner suitable as to represent a quality organization with which you are employed, always and in every instance projecting an attitude of honesty and integrity.
- Directs, coordinates, and participates in performing customer service activities as dictated by work load.
- Assist other employees as needed.

Education and/or Experience Preferences:- THE GO TO PERSON FOR PARTS EXPERTISE!
- GREAT WITH COMPUTERS!
- Highly organized and detail oriented
- Graduation from an industry recognized service training program also preferred butnot required!
- Experience with Tekmetric preferred but not required!
- Individuals with experience as an automotive technician are strongly encouraged to apply!
- Individuals with service writing experience preferred, but not required!
- Individuals with diesel parts experience preferred!
- Current driver’s licenses.
- Proof of minimum state required insurance on personal vehicle.
- Driving record acceptable to our current insurance carrier.

- Being dependable for a position that isMonday – Friday
- Being on your feet the majority of the workday (standing, walking, etc).
- Occasionally lifting and carrying objects over 50 lbs.
- Keeping a brisk work pace in a high-volume environment.
