Mortgage Automation QA Analyst

The Mortgage Functional QA Analyst is primarily responsible for functional and regression testing, both manually and automated, of Banking and Financial software products as well as ancillary applications. Testers will write and execute test cases following test plans and procedures developed for software product releases. The QA Analyst will also assist with administrative duties such as facilitating meetings, report creation, issue tracking and test case/user story maintenance.

Here's what you'll be doing

Your primary responsibility at this level may include any or all of the following: Assist project teams with the development and documentation of user stories and acceptance criteria. Champion the QA Vision and Purpose in all you do. Participate in Scrum ceremonies to understand user stories and ensure a high quality user experience. Plan, develop and document new test cases or update regression tests based on provided user stories. Maintain traceability between tests and their associated user stories. Execute test cases for new functionality as well as regression on Banking and Financial software product lines using a variety of environments and platforms including mobile devices (i.e. iPhone/iPad, Android) and Web Browsers (i.e. Safari, Chrome, Edge, etc.) Document and communicate issues, providing specific information describing the incident and how to replicate then track to resolution. Perform routine updates in incident and test case tracking via Jira and HP Quality Center applications including report creation and dissemination. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:Minimum education, experience, technical, and communication skill levels, and licenses/certificates normally required performing the duties of this position.

Hard Skills Strong Knowledge of Mortgage Industry Standards and Mortgage Loan Lifecycle Proficient in the MS Office Suite including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook Basic knowledge of MS SQL is a plus Ability to execute test cases using web services tools such as Postman, SoapUI, ReadyAPI using SOAP, JSON, REST or similar tools Knowledge and experience with Agile methodology is preferred but not required Experience with TFS, Jira and HP Quality Center is preferred Knowledge of BDD, TDD and use of Cucumber desirable Basic knowledge on CICD, AWS, Dev-Ops is desirable but not mandatory Experience with Selenium desirable
