Job Title: Network Planning Engineer I Location: Tulsa, OK 74103Position Type: W2 Contract 12+ months Description:Responsible for planning, developing, executing and managing all aspects of various off-net access projects or project tasks to address problems of a moderately complex to complex nature.Responsible for planning and managing resources to execute projects or project components from inception through implementation to completion.Provide leadership and direction on all assigned projects or project tasks, ensures follow through from beginning to end; ensures overall progress of assigned projects from inception to implementation.Develops project plans that integrate the schedules of functional groups to provide a time-based, realistic expectation for a given project to successfully complete.Communicates regularly with the project team and stake holders through scheduled meetings, individual conversations, email correspondence, instant messaging, collaboration websites, and distribution of timely meeting minutes. May work directly with clients, project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements and feeds requirements to systems/report writers to support the needs of the business.Drives development projects that support products or operational processes.Designs, develops, implements and maintains business solutions around daily management reporting, executive level performance reporting, problem identification, etc.Interprets results using a variety of techniques. Interprets requirements, identifies and communicates project scope and ensures program milestones and objectives are met.Takes a proactive approach to each project to identify and understand risks and engage appropriate support before risks negatively affect the project deliverable (for example, impacts to scope, schedule or cost.)Develops risk mitigation plans as necessary to mitigate risk during the project.Supports training, communications, and change management within the organization.Responsible for reporting regular status updates to management and key project stakeholder's. Occasionally provides status to senior executives.Establishes the appropriate project/team structure, reporting and metrics to measure and monitor performance against plan.Provides ad hoc support to teams or management by collecting, analyzing data and reporting results and develops actionable recommendations.Participates in project meetings involving customers, partners, and cross-functional teams.
