GDH Consulting has a contract to hire opportunity for an IT Project Controller. We are looking for controllers with experience in navigating financial systems with Oracle or SAP experience.

Job Description: style="box-sizing: inherit;" The project controller is a key member of the project team and works directly with the project manager to help define the project's goals and objectives; create and maintain a project's budget and schedule, analyze progress reported against the work schedules; and recommend actions to improve progress. style="box-sizing: inherit;" style="box-sizing: inherit;" Responsibilities: style="box-sizing: inherit;" Responsible for tracking key project milestones and adjusting project plans and/or resources to meet the needs of the project style="box-sizing: inherit;" Responsible for assisting in creating and tracking project budget. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Responsible for updating Finance Systems for forecasting and budgeting. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Responsible for updating Project Management Systems for status. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Generates project reports. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Demonstrates the ability to meet assigned work deadlines and priorities. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Demonstrates the ability to assist in building and to follow detailed project plans. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Demonstrates the ability to facilitate meetings. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Demonstrates ability to resolve project scheduling issues. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Manage Purchase Orders and Invoices at a detail level. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Tracks all known risks. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Works cooperatively and effectively with others to achieve common goals. style="box-sizing: inherit;" style="box-sizing: inherit;" Required Qualifications: style="box-sizing: inherit;" Bachelor's degree preferred, preferably in Computer Science, Information Management or related field or comparable work experience. style="box-sizing: inherit;" 2-4 years' experience in project related work style="box-sizing: inherit;" Strong communication skills style="box-sizing: inherit;" Analytical skills/attention to detail required to ensure quality and accuracy of cost and schedule data/documentation style="box-sizing: inherit;" Working knowledge of accounting practices style="box-sizing: inherit;" Working knowledge in project management methodologies and tools. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office applications. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Working knowledge of plan development and execution, scope planning, schedule development, cost estimating, budgeting, and control, quality planning assurance, organizational planning, communications planning, risk identification and risk response control. style="box-sizing: inherit;" Working knowledge of the IT development process, including requirements gathering, analysis and design, development tools and technologies, release and version control, contemporary testing methodologies, and deployment management style="box-sizing: inherit;" style="box-sizing: inherit;" Interested candidates please send resume in Word format to Please reference job code 88483 when responding to this ad.
