DescriptionThe Retention Executive - National Agency Team is responsible for growing membership within existing accounts and for directly managing business relationships with client accounts. The Retention Executive's work assignments are varied and frequently require interpretation and independent determination of the appropriate courses of action.ResponsibilitiesThe Retention Executive - National Agency Group oversees customer account management for agencies selling across the nation, including negotiating contracts and agreements. Develops and oversees customer retention campaigns. Understands department, segment, and organizational strategy and operating objectives, including their linkages to related areas. Makes decisions regarding own work methods, occasionally in ambiguous situations, and requires minimal direction and receives guidance where needed. Follows established guidelines/procedures.

Sells and retains nationwide accounts

Travels to the national agencies

Presents and creates training materials

Needs solid understanding of new sales process and of Humanas' self service function

Required Qualifications

2+ years of Account Management/Sales experience

2+ years of Health Insurance industry experience

Health and Life license required in all states that Humana operates

Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Strong understanding of Humana's current renewal process

Very organized

Presentation skills

Team collaboration skills

Minimum 20% National Travel - Overnight

Preferred Qualifications

Bachelors degree

Experience working in a team/Corporate environment
