In-depth system requirements analysis.

Building server systems from the ground up.

Pre-installation software and hardware staging and configuration.

Pre-installation system testing.

Remotely troubleshooting complex software applications installed in a variety of enterprise environments.

Beta test new or modified code.

Provide high-level factory support to worldwide deployment teams, first-level site administrators and second-level factory support personnel.

Writing technical bulletins, whitepapers, building technical diagrams, installation guides, etc…

Possible travel worldwide, which requires a valid passport.QualificationsBasic Qualifications:

This position requires a Bachelor’s degree in the appropriate discipline and 5 years of relevant experience or an Advanced degree in the appropriate discipline and 3 years of relevant experience.In the absence of a degree, 9 years of relevant experience is required.

3 to 5 years of experience in design, implementation, and support of client/server software architectures and enterprise applications.

Possess the technical and organizational skills necessary to facilitate the installation, configuration, documentation, training, and support of specialized Information Systems.

ISO processes, Technical writing skills, Troubleshooting methodologies.

Microsoft technologies such as Active Directory, DNS, DFSR, DHCP, IIS, Cluster Server, NLB.

Security Best Practices.

Patch Management.

Cloud technologies.

Virtual environments .

SAN storage.

Databases – Oracle, SQL Server, SQL Express.

TCP/IP protocol suite.

Imaging software like Ghost and Acronis (BMR).

Win32 and SQL scripting tools.

Backup software and technologies such as Symantec Backup Exec and IDR.

Antivirus software like McAfee Enterprise Virus Scan.

Data Replication/Mirroring/Failover software such as EMC Autostart and RAC.

Server Operating Systems – Windows 2003/2008.

Wireless hardware configuration and installation with equipment by manufacturers such as Cisco.

Familiarity with PCIDSS and other security standards such as ISO 27001.

Be proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Visio, Access, etc.

Server hardware configuration and installation with equipment by manufacturers such as HP, Dell, IBM, etc.

LAN hardware configuration and installation with equipment by manufacturers such as Cisco.

Ability to work within a multicultural team environment (or perhaps a “culturally diverse” international community).

Requires excellent oral and written communication skills.

Must be able to lift heavy objects such as Servers, UPS units and tape backup units.

Certification Qualifications:

BS in Computer Science related discipline or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Prefer MSCE, CCNA, CCNP or equivalent Certification
