Location: Tulsa, OK Description: Our client is currently seeking a Telecommunications Engineer in Tulsa, OK
This job will have the following responsibilities:- Responsible for securing offnet capacity in support of customer and/or internal infrastructure requirements. This typically includes loops via LECs and CAPs. Duties will include soliciting vendors for availability and pricing and choosing the best match to the customer requirement; addressing Access Unification 1g and 10g inquiries in support of the ongoing savings migration work; working VRD and WFM fall-out on wave, TDM, and Switched Ethernet orders; and assisting with special projects as necessary
- 5-7 years of telecom experience preferred in Planning or Provisioning role;
- Proficient knowledge of Excel a must
- Prefer candidate to have previous ASR processing experience, working knowledge of order flow.
- Must have solid understanding of telecom hierarchy and what it takes to put a circuit (ds0-100g) together
