DSP's/HTS's (Tulsa)

Diamond Quality Care, Inc. is hiring Direct Support Professionals (DSP's), also known as Habilitation Training Specialist's (HTS's), who work with individuals with developmental disabilities in the individual's own home. Required training includes but is not limited to CPR/1st Aid, MAT, DDSD Required Core Training classes (including but not limited to Communications, Ethics and Legal, Nuts and Bolts, HCC) and client specific training which is provided on the job. HTS's assist developmentally disabled individuals in living as independently as possible following their individual plans developed by their teams. HTS's must have reliable transportation to get to and from work as well as to transport individual clients to work, doctor appointments and on other outings as their plan determines is in their best interest. HTS's are responsible for documentation of all aspects of the services provided. Must maintain privacy and confidentiality in all work related areas. Responsibilities include but are not limited to teaching people life skills, including daily living and personal care skills, home management, money management, assisting the individuals in community actives and family functions, preparing meals and other household chores, and assisting with medication management and health monitoring. Most of our clients require 24/7 assistance which means we MAY have day shifts, night shifts, overnight shifts and weekend shifts available to fill. All applicants must be responsible, reliable, nurturing, detailed oriented, at least 18 years old, have a clean OSBI, no history of industry abuse or neglect allegations, and drug free. Please note we are looking for individuals who want to work in this special industry with incredibly special clients who have a valid Oklahoma drivers license, have sufficient and reliable daycare arrangements, maintain an automobile in good working order and properly insured, and pride themselves on being at work on time and as scheduled.
