WELDERS:
1st shift hours. Weld test is Mig and Flux plate test. If interested, apply ASAP for fast consideration.
Duties:
Weld and some fitting in structural steel fabrication shop. Pipe welding will be an extra plus for hire.
Familiar with ASME codes.
Interpret blue prints, ISO's and other drawings.
Recognize blue print terms and symbols accurately.
Use large scale equipment safely. (cranes and forklift, etc)
Use hand tools, grinders and arc welding equipment.
Perform material checks for defects and dimensions before welding begins.
Perform layout checks when asked by supervisor.
All work should be X Ray quality.
Observe all safety rules.
FITTER/FABRICATORS:
Responsible for layout, fit and tack weld various plate and structural steel to specifications of blue prints.
Experience with reading blue prints and symbols.
Self starter and have basic hand tools.
SHOP HELP/1st PROCESSOR:
Overview:
Ideal candidate will be willing to train on multiple steel fabrication manufacturing positions such Shop Help, 1st Process and Saw Cutting. Must have some experience with industrial machinery, press brake, grinders, saws, etc. Able to operate a forklift.
Requirements:
Excellent math and measurement skills.
Able to read tape measure and basic drawing comprehension.
Detailed and safety oriented, able to carefully and quickly follow instructions.
Eager to learn, self-starter who looks for additional responsibilities when possible.
Ability to receive incoming inventory and document outgoing shipments.
Able to lift up to 70 pounds.
