Role summary Under the supervision of the Software Development Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for completing their tasks within the mobile framework of ongoing development and operation of a wireless in-flight service and entertainment solution. The position requires working closely with members of the development, operations, and IT teams. Location: Anywhere in Canada or US. Remote Options: 100% Remote only in these locations.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Analyze project specifications;
  • Collaborate with leadership to create fun and broadly appealing mobile apps for iOS and Android with interconnected systems
  • Create and maintain apps documentation from early feature pitches to living GDDs, including all related data
  • Work with the team to create, test, and iterate on apps systems
  • Use necessary tools to implement content and systems
  • Stay current with industry trends and learn from the successes and failures of other games
  • Effectively communicate your design visions and solutions to leadership and the team

What We're Looking For
  • College or university degree in computer science
  • For iOS more than 2 years of experience in developing software applications using Swift
  • For Android more than 2 years of experience in developing software applications using Kotlin
  • Concrete example of application portfolio published on Google store or iTunes
  • Experience with Agile practices (Scrum, Kanban)
  • Experience with Continuous Integration and build farm is an asset
  • Experience with cross-platform frameworks (e.g. Xamarin) is an asset
  • Experience with Python is an asset
  • Fluent in English, spoken and written
