Job Description
A Water Resources Engineer at Olsson can expect to find variety in the nature of problems that they are asked to solve. Youwill have the opportunity to use youtechnical skills to design solutions that reduce flooding, stabilize stream beds and banks, protect critical infrastructure, promote recreation, protect water quality, promote public safety, and revitalize communities. Collaboration with engineers and scientists with different expertise will be necessary to define solutions to multi-disciplinary projects. Typical projects may range from the study and design of neighborhood flood reduction systems to watershed-scale studies identifying opportunities for regional improvements.As an Assistant Engineer, you will provide project designutilizing CAD and hydrologic and hydraulic software programs, perform research, and write technical reports. You may have the opportunity totravelto job sites for observation in various stages of analysis and construction.
Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering
- Must obtain Engineer Intern (EI) certificate
- 0-4 years of related engineering experience
- AutoCAD andhydrologic and hydraulic software experience preferred
- GIS experience is a plus
- Passion for detailed work
