Description You will be a key player in analytics and reporting providing insights leveraged across the enterprise. This is a cross functional role that requires knowledge of how to frame business problems, create datasets, synthesize results, design compelling visualization and make recommendations to the executive team and other leaders throughout the organization. In your role, you will lead a small team of BI analysts to develop enterprise-wide business intelligence insights, consult with stakeholders to develop use cases build analytical frameworks to solve business challenges, and lead analysts in transforming data into clear actionable visual insights. This role requires consultative communication, people leadership, great problem solving capabilities, the ability to clearly articulate key observations and recommendations with business leaders and external constituents, and the desire to be on a dynamic team within a fast-growing organization. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: Lead a team of high-performing and engaged employees through effective people leadership practices including regular communication of performance expectations and feedback to employees to maintain high team performance; provide coaching and corrective action as required; actively support employee professional growth and development Meet established department metrics; update leader on all major projects and goal progress; research, resolve and communicate operational and employee issues to leader or other business units as appropriate Build, maintain, and communicate detailed reporting, dashboards and analysis on key business metrics and challenges Collaborate with multiple internal teams (e.g. ?nance, marketing, mortgage, deposits, and others) and technical/IT teams to deliver insights Identify metrics to drive the business forward and turn data into valuable insights by leveraging creative solutions, effectively communicating insights to key stakeholders Generate forward-looking, member-centric analysis to drive strategic conversations and speci?c growth opportunities targeted to the organization's business initiates and strategies Develop thought leadership to support decision making through business intelligence Build a personal knowledge base through proactive industry research and analysis activities and efforts to build deliverables; including best practices for BI project execution as well as ?nancial services-speci?c business insights Create analyses with a focus on "telling a story" rather than merely presenting facts; translating and developing captivating stories by drawing attention to critical insights Hands on support of teams to create trustworthy and accurate insights

10+ years of experience in data and analytics, with a focus on business intelligence 3+ years of managing and leading a team of BI analysts; preferably in the ?nancial services industry with a proven track record of developing high performing teams Expertise in managing BI project lifecycles, including best practices for key project deliverables (e.g. requirements and design documentation, wireframes / mock ups, test cases, etc.) Analytical experience with data and data modeling concepts Expertise with SQL and relational databases (Snow?ake preferred) Hands on experience with BI Visualization Tools (Tableau experience required) Ability to display complex quantitative data in a simple, intuitive format and to present ?ndings in a clear and concise manner. Art of telling a story with data. Command of analytical programming languages (such as SQL, Python, R) Ability to anticipate needs and prioritize projects in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and high-volume peaks while producing high-quality work Exemplary communication skills: oral and written, with ability to translate complex statistical and quantitative analysis into simple real-real world inferences for business teams and senior management and including excellent presentation skills with experience presenting to and ?elding questions from executives Expert analytical, problem-solving and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail Proven ability to build consensus across multiple stakeholder groups through partnership Ability to establish and maintain trusted relationships with internal stakeholders Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft O?ce Suite Working knowledge of Microsoft O?ce Suite Minimum Education: Bachelors in Engineering, data science, statistics, economics or quantitative background or equivalent work experience
