BI Analyst/Developer (Tableau) Hybrid role, must be located within 50 miles of Hillsboro, OR, Rocklin, CA or San Jose, CA Direct Hire The Business Intelligence Analyst delivers statistical and analytical support to key stakeholders including leadership by creating enterprise and ad-hoc reports. They also provide consultative services such as expert advice on the interpretation / usage of data and visualizations. Here's what you can expect from the job and what you need to be successful: Job Duties Build deep relationships with business units and stakeholders to define scope, level of effort, deliverables, project plans, future roadmaps and help resolve/escalate issues as needed to successfully deliver projects Ability to anticipate needs, prioritize projects and manage expectations in a fast-paced environment Act as a subject matter expert in multiple areas in building, advising, and enabling enterprise reports, dashboards, visualizations, resulting in complex solutions for cross-functional initiatives Define metrics to drive the business forward and turn data into valuable insights by leveraging creative solutions, and effectively communicating insights to stakeholders Lead the process of verifying accuracy and completeness of data models, data relationships, mappings, and definitions for the business unit Recommend and implement improvements to existing business analyses, interpretations of data, and definitions of Metrics/KPIs Lead/Manage/Assist with the design and development of a business data layer and semantic layer to support the business community in using EDW data Create, execute, and manage adoption plans including writing process documents, how to queries, data visualization, etc. for enterprise data warehouse Mentor fellow Analysts within the Data Analytics Community Essential Skills 7+ years of experience as a BI/Data Analyst 3+ years of data and analytics experience within Marketing preferred Expert Tableau skills and Tableau Certified Professional Preferred Ability to effectively communicate in both oral and written at ALL levels of the organization including translation of technical terms to non-technical stakeholders. Ability to consult with stakeholders to identify use cases, plan and execute projects end to end and consult with stakeholders on observations and recommendations, based on the outcomes of the business intelligence project. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills with excellent attention to detail Proven ability to build consensus across multiple stakeholder groups through partnership Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders Knowledge of data preparation tools such as Alteryx, Datawatch, etc. Intermediate level knowledge of Master Data Management MDM and Data Quality Management DQM Expert knowledge of star schemas facts and dimensions Expert knowledge of analytical programming languages such as SQL, Python, R Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Minimum Education: Bachelor s degree in Business Administration, Mathematics, Statistics or related field. #TJP2022-Spec #P1
