Job Req #: 21-08721Job Description: Product Security EngineerLocation: Beaverton, ORJob Type: FTE/Direct Hire Key Responsibilities:
- Identify potential attack vectors, analyze source code, define test cases, and design security solutions for our various products: (SCT, Server, OmniCore, etc.)
- Identify potential attack vectors on platforms running Phoenix UEFI firmware
- Define test cases for platforms running Phoenix UEFI firmware
- Manage status of known vulnerabilities, both internally discovered and externally reported
- Work closely with internal engineers to re-test as they resolve discovered issues
- BS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent, or 5 years experience in a firmware development position
- Low-level hardware experience
- Working knowledge of motherboard technologies such as PCIe, USB, UART, SPI, I2C
- Working knowledge of UEFI
- Proficiency in C and Python
- Must have good English communication skills, both written and verbal
- Must work well both with a team and independently
- Experience with operating system kernel and/or driver development, including Windows and Linux
- Solid understanding of cryptographic technologies such as public-key cryptography
- Ability to read and understand motherboard schematics
- Proficiency in Rust
- Solid understanding of networking protocols
