This individual will perform daily cash management reporting, prepare weekly payment batches, assist the Director of Finance with regularly generated reports, prepare journal entries, and reconcile balance sheet accounts. This position also prepares the state and local property and sales tax reports, files quarterly VAT reclaim requests, and is responsible for assisting with the year end audit by preparing audit schedules as required.DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESMonthly reconciliation, valuation, and analysis of inventory.

Maintain and develop inventory standard cost, ensuring costs are accurate.

Collect receivables to conclusion.

Reconcile balance sheet accounts and prepare journal entries as required.

Maintain fixed asset system, post depreciation, and file annual personal property returns.

Prepare and file state sales tax and value added tax returns.

Key contact with state sales tax offices and update and maintain sales tax codes in ERP.

Preparation of weekly payment batches and input of electronic payments to vendors.

Other accounting duties as required.
