Senior Product Manager, Tableau Location: Portland, OR 97232 Direct Hire/Permanent/Full Time The Senior Product Manager, Tableau serves as a subject matter expert in the business and technical administration of Tableau, developing, implementing and overseeing projects, initiatives, procedures and processes for the effective maintenance and utilization of the application and is the expert point person for Tableau for all users across the enterprise. Primary Responsibilities: • Provide stakeholders, team members and partners with thought leadership and coaching on the platform configuration, maintenance, monitoring, optimization and utilization • Partner with IT teams to establish and execute software/hardware upgrades, patches, and maintenance plans • Lead and execute the business and content administration of Tableau, including site creation, security, user permissions, licensing, content certification and migration. • Establish the Tableau work product certification criteria, review and approval process • Partner with IT to monitor server activity/usage statistics to identify possible performance issues/enhancements • Proactively partner with stakeholders to plan and design optimal solutions and provide user support to resolve issues • Partner with the Senior Program Manager, Enablement to establish and execute a Tableau training and certification program to educate analysts on the best practices for designing, developing, optimizing and utilizing the Tableau platform • Educate and train stakeholder / partner teams on how to leverage Tableau's capabilities • Create, maintain and update all training and reference material on intranet and other resource sites related to Tableau • Deliver presentations to and support the adoption of Tableau services and tools for various user groups • Manage vendor relationship and quarterly business reviews • Keep current on market trends in business intelligence, data science and analytics tools and best practices to uncover solutions to new and existing business challenges and opportunities

Experience and Education Requirement: • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree (preferably in Business Administration, Mathematics or Statistics) • Minimum 6 years' experience with Tableau as a developer and/or administrator • Proficiency in developing business intelligence artifacts, such as dashboards and visualizations, with Tableau • Excellent planning and organizing skills and the ability to self-manage involvement in multiple concurrent areas of responsibility; proven ability to exercise sound judgment and take initiative • Ability to successfully drive projects, processes and change management concepts in a dynamic and complex operating environment • Demonstrated record of consulting and successfully working in complex, matrixed environments to build and maintain positive relationships and accomplish goals; ability to lead through influence • Ability to deliver effective stakeholder presentations to both peer and executive level audiences • Ability to make logical connections between business processes, data and analytics capabilities, and data standards • Ability to work autonomously to manage time effectively and prioritize work appropriately to meet deadlines • Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences • Strong conceptual and process-thinking abilities; excellent attention to detail and ability to focus on the big-picture • Proficiency with query programming languages (such as SQL, Python/R) • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; especially Outlook and PowerPoint Certification/License: Tableau certification preferred Working Conditions: • Ability to travel occasionally (less than 10% of the time) • Ability to remain stationary (sitting or standing) for at least 50% of time worked • Actively communicate, converse or express oneself in exchange of information with other employees and/or members • Ability to detect, perceive and identify objects, individuals and locations • Capable of operating appropriate office equipment required for employee productivity, including use of keyboards • Possess the ability to function independently • Schedule variances including occasional extended hours
