Job Req #: 21-11733Job Description: FirmGuard Product ManagerLocation: Beaverton, ORJob Type: FTE/Direct Hire Key Responsibilities: Seeking a product manager to help my client create and launch a new product focused on the enterprise IT market with emphasis on client devices. The product will allow a system administrator to perform tasks such as remote installation of new programs to remote devices, forcing remote client devices to reboot, and perform data collection from different devices such as network endpoints. The product manager will be responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering to deliver a winning product. Follow up product will include important AI element.
- Launch product into the enterprise IT marketplace
- Produce marketing and sales collateral
- Train sales teams on the product and help close initial customer wins
- Bachelor s degree in computer science/engineering or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5 - 7 years product management experience preferred
- Good understanding of an enterprise network environment, particularly client device (e.g., laptops, desktops) management is highly desirable
- Familiarity with Microsoft SCCM or similar remote management tools is highly desirable
- Working knowledge of some or all of the following is desirable Languages: C/C, Python, JSON, PowerShell script, HTML, CSS, and Java. Protocols: d-bus, Restful API, I2C, SPI, UART, USB 2.0
- Interest/knowledge of AI desirable
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Excels at adapting to changing business needs with the ability to balance multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills and enjoys a collaborative environment internally and customer facing engagement to help determine product specification
- Intellectually curious and passionate about innovation
