Someone who is resilient and self-confident with the ability to perform successfully and adequately in a fast-paced environment. The job position is payroll clerk for multiple companies. This is a long-term position with growth potential including paid time off and retirement benefits. This position requires accuracy, an extreme attention to detail, strong and proficient verbal and written communication skills as well as strong time-management and self-management skills, confidentiality and customer service skills. This offer may also require that additional or different tasks be performed when circumstances change (i.e. emergencies, changes in personnel, workload, or technological developments).
Qualifications:
Minimum High School Diploma/GED
o Accounting degree would be a plus
Minimum 1-year payroll processing experience including:
o Payroll tax depositing requirements
o Wage/Fringe item taxability
o Knowledge of payroll tax laws and applications
o Preparation of all required payroll reports – quarterly and year-end reports
Completion of payroll classes would be a Bonus!
Must pass a background check due to the type of information being handled
Resume must have 3 references
Employment Wage: $20.00 to $25.00 depending on experience, education, designations, etc.
Work Schedule: Full Time - Monday through Thursday 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM (May to December). January through April 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM and must be available to work some Saturday’s as well.
