Job Description
Senior Web Application Developer/Architect (remote)REMOTEFulltimeCompensation commensurate with experience Our client, a global leader in SaaS for the Real Estate Industry, is seeking a Senior Web Application Developer/Architect. You will be creating marketing websites for end clients. These sites are built for the Google cloud using Ruby, JavaScript, SQL (Postgres & MySQL) Linux, Go (a much preferred skillset), Rails, Kubernetes, etc. These are complex content management systems & widgets that allow customers to customize their marketing websites. The Senior Developer/Architect will be in an individual contributor role, working with a team of approximately 10 other engineers. This role requires the skills listed below. Must Haves:- Senior level Ruby, JavaScript, SQL development skills creating services oriented architecture
- Heavy OO Development & Architecture skills
- Experience with data warehousing - understanding of complex backend business logic using Ruby & Rails
- Experience developing website for the public cloud, ideally Google
- Ability to create documentation and see the big picture & how all the applications work together - i.e. architecture skills
- Some exposure to Postgres SQL & MySQL
- Experience with DevOps, Kubernetes, Linux & public cloud (Google cloud preferred)
- Go development skills (would be VERY helpful)
- Experience developing marketing websites, knowledge and use of Google Analytics API, Google Adwords API, Bing Ad API, Facebook Ad API
