Elegant retirement community is seeking a full-time Dishwasher in our professional, fun, and friendly Kitchen team! This is a full-time position of approximately 32-40 hours per week. Must be available to work weekdays, holidays, and any shifts within the hours of 6:00 am to 9:00 pm. Successful candidates will be dependable, detail oriented, self-motivated, and be able to work swiftly in a busy kitchen environment. Must be able to work well unsupervised, have a good attitude, and work well in a team.
Position Summary: The Dishwasher participates in the cleaning and sanitation of all kitchen utensils, china, glassware, and all service items. Ensures all work areas are maintained in a clean and sanitary condition during and after service periods. Assists with food/supply delivery check-ins against orders and assists with proper storage of deliveries in the appropriate time frames. Follow State of Oregon and Deschutes County foodservice regulations and has a valid Food handler’s card. Maintains kitchen and equipment in a safe, sanitary manner consistent with foodservice and facility regulations. Maintains regular cleaning schedules for all kitchen surfaces, equipment, and related areas. Participates in monthly food, supply, and service item inventories. Assists kitchen staff as needed in preparation and serving of food to residents, guests, and employees.
