Elixir Wine Group is a national wine import and production company established in Bend in 2001. We own and operate wineries in Argentina and in Bend, OR and import wines from 9 different countries. Our wines are sold all over the USA. We are looking for someone to help in our tasting room with some additional responsibilities listed below:
Tasting room counter and table server Thursday - Sunday or Thursday - Saturday
Outreach, coordination and calendar management of chef dinners and private events
Inventory management
Local sales support on commission
Managing our wine club quarterly shipments
Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
We are a busy and multi-faceted company. Work ethic and attention to detail are critical for success. You must be smart, creative, easy going and personable. We need people that are active and intelligent team members and can be honest about what they know and don't know. The ability to work independently and ask questions as needed is our culture. A self starter with a desire to keep management up to date on your progress is imperative.
Experience in the wine industry is definitely a plus however, we have a clear preference for a focused, hardworking person with the traits outlined above. We are quite experienced in the industry and need someone with a desire to learn and grow with us for the long term.
The position starts immediately.
Hours:
Thursday 5-9
Friday 5-9
Sat 2-9
Sun 2-6 (flexible if not desired)
