Hello! Our small pediatric dentistry practice in Bend, Oregon is seeking a Dental Assistant to join our great team! Dentistry for children is a very rewarding, fast-paced, and diverse environment. As a newer practice, Bend Children’s Dentistry is looking for someone to grow with us as we build our exceptional team and provide access to care for children in Central Oregon. Develop your skills in sterile practices, radiography, chairside assisting, pediatric coronal polishing, and sealants.

Qualifications:

- Dental Assisting experience

- CPR Certification

- Radiology Certification

- Expanded Functions Dental Assistant or Expanded Functions Preventative Dental Assistant Certification- preferred by not required

- Sealant Certification- preferred but not required

- Experience with Eaglesoft program- preferred but not required

Excellent chair-side manner and great communication skills are a must. Assistants must be gentle, compassionate, considerate, and affirming with our patients and their families. Must be able to work well with others we pride ourselves on a positive and welcoming environment.

Job Duties:

- Chair-side assisting

- Electronic documentation

- Administrative tasks (scheduling patients, phone calls, ordering supplies, etc.)

- Instrument sterilization

- Office cleaning and disinfection

- Taking radiographs (based on certification)

- Coronal polishing (based on certification)

- Sealants (based on certification)

Benefits/Compensation:

- Full-time position (32-36 hours per week) with regular schedule Tuesday - Friday

- Competitive hourly pay: $27 - $31 per hour (based on experience and certifications)

- Medical/Dental Benefits (eligible after 30 days employment)
