The Humane Society of Central Oregon (HSCO) has a part-time (20-24hrs/week) position open for an energetic individual with compassion for animals. Join our team and help make a difference in your community! HSCO is the only open admission animal shelter in Central Oregon and cares for approximately 3,000 animals every year.
Position entails maintaining HSCO feline and small animal population, including but not limited to:
Daily monitoring for health and behavior.
Cleaning and sanitizing kennels.
Providing enrichment (toys and playtime.)
Daily feeding.
The ideal candidate for this position has a great attitude and can work in a fast paced, changing, and sometimes stressful environment. They understand the importance of their job and that the health and wellbeing on the animals in HSCOs care starts with them.
Schedule includes early mornings, weekend days, and sometimes holidays. Pay starts at $11/hr and is DOE.
