Do you enjoy guiding, leading and teaching youth? Join Rimrock Trails in a role that impacts youth by guiding them in a healthier and happier direction. We are hiring for part-time and full-time openings. We run a 24/7 operation so a schedule usually consists of working evenings, weekends and holidays plus some overtime.

Learn more about what you'd get to do in the Residential Mentor role:

Coordinate and supervise outdoor activities, teach life skills and set healthy boundaries for your adolescent clients.

Grow your capabilities of working with adolescents in the mental health field, specifically in the area of substance abuse.

Stretch your leadership muscles.

Work with a team that genuinely cares about our clients and employees.

Gain experience in the field and pursue the following certifications; Certified Alcohol and Drug Counselor (CADC) and/or Qualified Mental Health Associates (QMHA).

Ideal candidates have the following:

High school diploma/GED.

1 year experience working with youth (or adults) in a residential behavioral health or substance abuse setting is preferred.

CADC certification preferred, but not required.

Comfort leading and directing a group of adolescents.

All successful new hires must have a valid Oregon driver's license (or be able to get one) and have an insurable driving record.

Must be able to pass criminal background check and drug screen (to include Cannabis/THC/Marijuana).

Ability to follow a presentable dress code

Ability and willingness to regularly work swing shifts and weekends.
