AV Technician
We have an opportunity to add a full-time experienced AV technician to our highly skilled and professional team.
We are looking for a highly motivated individual with a desire to work for an established growing company. This position is full time and available immediately. Other positions also available.
Qualified Candidates will have:
2-4 -plus years of experience installing, configuring, and maintaining professional audio-visual equipment (such as video switchers and extenders, amplifiers, speakers, control systems, and networks)
Experience working with IT, networking products, and network topologies
Experience installing and troubleshooting AV and IT related infrastructure (cabling, connectors, rack assemblies, etc.)
Ability to read and comprehend AV system design diagrams, specifications and technical manuals
Experience with tools (drills, reciprocating saws, etc.) required for cutting holes into walls or tables, mounting speakers, pulling cables, mounting flat panel displays, etc. needed to install an AV system. Ability to lift loads up to 50-pounds and work at various heights using ladders.
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Ability to demonstrate planning and organizing skills which allow the successful completion of a project by a specified due date or time.
Proficiency with personal computers and typical office programs such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Strong attention to details and be highly organized
Superior customer service skills with both internal and external customers.
Use creativity and problem-solving skills to provide solutions to exceed customer expectations
Crestron experience is a plus
