Facilities Manager

Flying car company R&D center has a need for an upbeat, self-motivated, productive Facilities Manager. Must be fluent with Excel, Word, and must demonstrate a high proficiency operating a Windows-based computer operating system. The job requires skills using hand tools, doing maintenance on an industrial building's systems, helping to keep the facilities clean, driving vehicles and forklifts, organizing for remote operations including arranging for equipment rentals, keeping a building and grounds in good condition doing as much as possible by self and finding/hiring the rest. This involves physically moving materials and equipment and at times is physically demanding. Must be fluent and understandable using the English language. We design and build prototype flying vehicles, so our facility is a drug-free facility including medical drugs that have any potential to diminish or impair one's abilities to do error-free work. This is an hourly full-time position with a probationary period of one month. It can involve travel and work outside the local area for remote flight testing for up to a week at a time during some parts of the year but not often. Any IT experience and abilities would increase the pay rate.
