Driver & Warehouse Team Member
Are you interested in working for a small and growing company in a progressive health industry?! We are a specialty distributor of farm-direct local food. We are looking for a ¾-full time driver/warehouse team member, ideally with some delivery, receiving, driving and warehouse experience.
Current times of work are below and will increase during the summer and early fall:
Average week is currently about 30 hours and will increase to 35-40 on certain weeks.
Approximate hours are:
Monday 6a - 9a
Tuesday 6a - 4p
Wednesday 5:45a - 2:45p
Thursday 7a - 10a (time varies and sometimes no work on Thursdays )
Friday 6a - 11a
Saturday 7a - 8a (seasonally August thru late April/early May)
We expect this positions hours to increase during the summer season and as the business continues to grow, perhaps becoming year-round full time within 12 months. Tasks fall into these general categories: 1) Driver - Central Oregon deliveries; 2) Driver - Willamette Valley courier route; 3) Cleaning - warehouse organization/cleaning, vehicle cleaning. The delivery routes will become longer and more complex as the business grows. We are looking for a strong team member to help us develop this facet of the business!
Must have valid drivers license, clean driving record, and PHYSICAL ABILITY TO MOVE/LIFT 50lb BOXES FOR AN EXTENDED PERIOD OF TIME. Some delivery experience, ideally in the produce industry, is recommended. Comfortability with driving an 18' box truck with manual transmission. Mechanics/equipment/diesel truck background is ideal. Must have good interpersonal skills for being the face of our company when making deliveries. We are based in NE Bend and our delivery route is mainly central Bend with weekly routes to Junction City/Eugene (year-round), Madras (seasonal), and potentially to Prineville and west of Sisters.

Ability to roll with the punches - things come up on the fly and are ever changing.

Morning person: Delivery routes begin early when there is less traffic on the road. We need someone who rolls into work sometimes before sunrise and is 100% ready to go.
