Global Marketplace Controlling is focused on the complete and accurate reporting of our sales transactions for both Nike Direct and Nike Marketplace partners. We also serve as the primary Controlling point of contact for Nike Direct, supporting their entire function.

WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR

We are looking for a Manager in Global Marketplace Controlling to support our Operations and Transformation pillar. The ideal candidate will have a strong Business-to-Consumer Finance technology and tools acumen, the ability to manage projects in a dynamic transformational environment and creatively solve problems to make our Controlling processes around the world more efficient and effective. You will demonstrate desire for driving global operational improvements and system automation, while maintaining a strong internal control environment. Tolerance for ambiguity and proven ability to work in a fast paced, global matrix is a must.

WHAT YOU WILL WORK ON

If this is you, you'll be working on transforming our Nike Direct Consumer Order to Cash journey to effectively and efficiently support Nike's growth. In the short term, you will maily focus on the global Blackline implementation of payment matching and reconciliation modules for Nike Direct transactions across all types of Consumer payments and their service providers. In the long term, you will focus on continued transformation of our function by creating other operational efficiencies across all areas of Nike Direct Consumer Order to Cash.

A typical day/week for this role includes designing, implementing, and maintaining tools and technology for our global Controlling teams around the world in order to support Nike's continued growth at scale.

WHO YOU WILL WORK WITH

You will work very closely with the Controlling teams at WHQ and within each Geography and work heavily with the Nike Technology, Payments and Treasury Teams!

WHAT YOU BRING

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Technology or combination of relevant education, experience, and training
  • Minimum of 5 years' work experience in Accounting or Technology in global consumer products/ relevant industry
  • Experience working within the payments industry, ideally in a fast-moving and e-commerce orientated company
  • Consumer payment processing knowledge and key technologies employed in e-commerce flow
  • Experience in finance transformation projects across all or any of the phases (Assess, Design, Build and Deploy)
  • 1+ years of technical or advisory-related implementation experience in BlackLine is preffered
  • Certification in BlackLine modules is an added advantage
  • SAP ECC and S/4 HANA knowledge is a plus
