Summary of position
Under the direction of the Quality Assurance Manager, provides training, policy interpretation and application for case managers, eligibility specialists, and other agency staff as needed. Works with management team to identify training goals and needs, develop and deliver training in the areas of agency service practices and State Medicaid policy. Develops tools to analyze training goals and outcomes.
Minimum qualifications
Graduation from a four-year college or university with emphasis in social services. Course work in geriatrics, elderly health care and gerontology, or experience providing a general knowledge of the elderly and/or people with disabilities, and/or medical terminology affecting the elderly and/or people with disabilities is required, plus two (2) years case management experience
