Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Data Architect w ith the following skills and experience: Responsibilities: Provides work leadership to professional staff and technical direction for the design, creation, deployment and management of data and data support systems. Aligns data architecture to business needs and promotes standards and governance processes to ensure data quality. Requirements:- Bachelor's degree in a related area or equivalent related experience required. Master's degree in computer science, mathematics, statistics or a related field preferred.
- 7 years Business Systems or Information Systems experience required.
- 5 years data integration and development experience required.
- Experience in the following required:
- ETL/ELT concepts and tools
- Database technologies (Relational, NoSQL)
- Data modeling
- Advanced experience with query languages
- Object-oriented programming and programming languages
- Query optimization tools
- Agile development methodologies
- Business intelligence reporting tools (Cognos, Power BI, Tableau etc.)
- Collaboration tools
- Experience in the following preferred:
- Languages C#, VB, Python
- ETL/ELT tools Microsoft SSIS
- Database technologies (Microsoft SQL Server, MongoDB, Snowflake)
- Cloud technologies (Azure, AWS)
- Spark analytics engine
