Fabrication and Design Engineer
Here is the opportunity to be involved with the growing industry of Craft Beer, Craft spirits, Fine wine and a number of other food and fruit processing industries, in a technical role!
AAA is a medium sized Fabrication shop, located in The Dalles Oregon. AAA Metal fabrication designs and builds small to medium size breweries and support equipment, stainless steel wine fermentation tanks, various vessels used in craft distilling, support equipment and other food processing vessels equipment. In this environment, you will have the opportunity to be involved with many stages of the design, manufacture and installation. We are seeking a qualified design engineer,
In this role you will:
Modify and customize current designs
Design tanks and equipment for specific purposes
Evaluate designs for adequate strength and manufacturability
Source and buy materials and components
Interface with customers for site specific designs
Coordinate production activities in the shop and in the field
Other purchasing related activities
The successful applicant will have the following:
BSME or equivalent
Familiarity with materials used in the beverage and food processing industries
Have a working knowledge of fabrication equipment and techniques
Technically sharp and innovative
Proven ability to multitask
Proficient in Solid works or AutoCAD 2d
Must be details oriented and accurate.
Have interest in the Beverages producing industry
Beneficial qualifications:
Supervisory or leadership experience
Experienced in MS Excel and Access
Experience with FEA software
experience in the brewing ,wine making or Distilling
Knowledge of the beverage and food processing industry
Knowledgeable about grades and characteristics of Stainless Steel
