Albany area AS9100 certified manufacturer is looking for an experienced CMM programmer/operator to program, set up and operate a Zeiss CMM, perform in-process and final inspection of precision manufactured components, and provide written documentation of CMM programs, setup sheets, inspection plans and measurement results.
Primary duties are CMM programming, operation and documentation but also include visual inspection, receiving inspection, corrective actions, calibration, First Article Inspections and other inspection requirements.
Position is permanent full time and includes generous health, dental and vision insurance, 401(k), vacation, bonus plan and other benefits. Candidates must have a keen attention to detail and the desire to complete work on time.
Position requires self-motivation, good organizational skills and the ability to work in a production environment. Candidates must be proficient in shop math with experience in CMM programming and inspection. Equipment includes Zeiss CMM along with other inspection equipment and precision hand tools. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, stooping, kneeling, pushing, pulling, standing, walking, stepping up and down on platforms and lifting up to 50 lbs.
