We are seeking a hardworking professional Leasing Agent in Corvallis to undertake a variety of office support tasks and work diligently in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for greeting customers, providing information about housing available for rent, driving around looking at properties we currently manage and providing exceptional customer service to tenants. Duties and Responsibilities
Greet customers, provide information for various rental units that are available for rent
Lease properties under acceptable and predetermined conditions and effectively explain to the client all the leasing policies and disclosures
Negotiate and create tenant rental or lease agreements; check applicant or tenant references, including credit references; conduct tenant relations and collect rent and other payments
Assist with move-ins, move-outs and transfers
Enter work orders, file paperwork and keys and open and close the office
Daily drive around exterior inspections of properties, keeping a detailed report and notifying tenants that need to make adjustments to the exterior of their rental unit
Ensure clerical duties are handled in the office, including but not limited to:
Operating telephone switchboard to answer
Screen and forward calls
Provide accurate information
Take messages
Schedule appointments
Check shared email and voicemail boxes
Make copies of appropriate documents available at all times at the front desk and forward all appropriate documents to all office personnel
Maintain cheerful, helpful and professional manner in person and on the telephone with the ability to smile under all circumstances
Service-oriented with the ability to meet deadlines and a high level of attention to detail is mandatory
Skills and Qualifications
At least 1 year of prior clerical experience
Ability to represent the company you are working for by presenting yourself in a neat and professional manner (Executive Attire)
Intuitive analytical skills to proactively identify and address any issues
Ability to work independently under pressure to meet multiple deadlines
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, including ability to articulate recommendations in a concise
Preference given to anyone with:
Experience with AppFolio or TenantTech
Knowledge of Federal, State and Local Fair Housing Laws
Job Details
Schedule: Monday - Friday from 8am - 5pm
Duration: Temp to Hire
Wage: $16-20 DOE
