At Active911, we build the world's best digital messaging service for emergency responders. But we're even prouder of giving emergency responders tools they can use to respond faster and make better decisions, and in turn saving lives.
When we say DevOps, we mean you're a System Administrator at heart, are comfortable with the various levels of hardware and software stacks, and are excited to work through the following problems:
-Blend old-style sysadmin and programming chops to build automation for continuously deploying diverse projects to multiple environments.
-Breaking down and scaling a monolithic service to to handle a distributed architecture and scaling for worldwide clients
-Supporting innovation by maintaining a infrastructure that is constantly under development
-Answer question like "Is Kubernetes the right tool, or should we do some-thing different?", "What are the best methods to scale our data storage and replication?", "How does this new API we are building impact our server se-curity?"
That's a taste of what you'll be working on. But first, you need to know if you'll even like working with us.
