Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a Vice President Technology Services with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Establish technological vision and lead all aspects of the technological development
- Develop technology systems and strategies within a collaborative environment
- Work in a consultative fashion with stakeholders as an advisor of technologies to define business and systems requirements, and to improve efficiency and effectiveness
- In collaboration with leadership, approve, prioritize and control projects and the project portfolio related to selection, acquisition, development and installation of information systems and processes
- Establish IT goals, objectives and procedures to ensure optimal service and performance
- Manage and direct performance standards of staff within the Technology Services team, fostering a culture of accountability and engagement
- Participate in the recruitment process for the Technology Services Department
- Assess and recommend improvements for IT services
- Manage user support services, including Help Desk, training, hands-on assistance and documentation
- Conduct research and case studies on leading-edge technologies and make determinations on the probability of implementation
- Bachelors in related field and at least 15 years' experience in the Information Technology arena
- Minimum ten (10) years' experience in management and strategy in this field or MBA/MS in related field with ten (10) years' experience, seven (7) of which must be managerial and strategic
- Experience managing software development teams
- Experience heading and completing technology projects
- Must be able to deal with sensitive, confidential information discreetly, and according to Foundation established policies and procedures
- Ability to actively communicate, inspire and motivate all levels of staff
- Ability to think and act strategically and pro-actively
- Experience with Investment, Accounting and Advancement systems preferred
