Position is: Full Time (M-F 8:30-5pm, occasionally starts at 8am to 5pm

SUMMARY DESCRIPTION:

Receives and directs incoming calls and customers. Offers great customer services with a friendly and helpful attitude. Assist the Office Manager with postings, data entry, mailings, banking, and other various- tasks as needed from the Office Manager or other supervisors.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Answer all phone lines, direct calls, and take messages in a prompt and courteous manner.

Greet and assist customers and vendors promptly and direct to proper service areas or process cash sales.

Enter daily sales invoice data into computer, mail out invoices and file them accordingly.

Post payments daily and match with invoices and file accordingly.

Assist with month-end duties: Mail statements.

Maintain order and cleanliness in front office and surrounding areas. Keep coffee area tidy, stocked and clean at all

times. Make coffee as needed.

Help with setting up shipping, including UPS shipments and Freight truck shipments, calling to get quotes, arrange

pickups and filling out BOL.

Make copies and receive FAX messages.

Perform other various duties as requested by supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS. SPECIAL SKILLS OR EDUCATION REQUIRED:

Must have great customer service skills, be friendly, outgoing and have the ability to develop customer relations.

Must be reliable, on time, and willing to be flexible.

High school diploma plus general computer and math skills.

Good telephone and communication skills.

Ability to perform multiple tasks despite frequent interruptions.

Be well groomed and punctual.

Be respectful to supervisors and treat customers and other employees with respect.

Valid driver's license.

Filing, typing, and 10-key skills helpful.

Good math skills and attention to detail a must.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

The front office at Coyote Steel is the communications core of the company. The primary focus of this position is to assist all customers by phone or direct contact as promptly and courteously as possible. This person is subject to encounters with a variety of personalities and must show constraint in all circumstances. Conditions are mostly pleasant in an industrial office environment.
