An Award Winning 200 bed non-profit Central Oregon Medical Center is seeking an experience Labor and Delivery Staff Nurses to join their growing Birthing Center.
The Birthing Center is comprised of 15 Private Birthing Suites, where labor, delivery and post-partum will all be done in the same room.
The Birthing Center Department Staff Nurse will assess, plan, evaluate and document the nursing process in the Family Birth Center as needed. The Labor and Delivery Nurse Staff will ensure patient support through infection control processes, sterility assurance, and product and instrument availability.
Reporting to the Labor and Delivery Nurse Manager, the Nurse Staff will assist in the overall management and leadership of the Birthing Center unit or groups of patient care units within Nursing Services. The Maternity Nurse will be responsible for all clinical and operational activities of the units in accordance with the Medical Center mission, vision, and value.
