Project Scope: Our client has an immediate need for a SQL Report Analyst/Developer with the following skills and experience: Responsibilities:- Evaluate, update and create internal reports and report documentation
- Create technical documentation for internal reports, queries, views, procedures and integrations
- Edit, maintain and improve existing reports and reporting environments
- Create standards, templates and other tools to aid development processes
- Must be familiar with SQL
- Must possess an ability to connect to SSMS, discover database objects, read views and stored procedures, document and read data flows and develop reports to specifications
- Must be able to effectively and proactively communicate with the IT and business teams to gather technical input and understand output needed
- Must have Crystal reports experience
- Must have experience with SSRS report development
- Demonstrated ability to write SQL queries and develop SQL views
- Experience understanding the connections of applications to databases is helpful
- Ability to create data maps using visual tools such as Visio
- Ability to work well with a remote team and remote subject matter experts
- Creativity in simplifying and organizing visualizations with report content
- Querying tabular models with MS Excel and SSRS
