Java Generations is looking to add a GREAT member to its barista/deli team.
We are a small café inside a medical building. Our first passion is coffee, however, we also have soup, sandwiches, and other food items. Our food is mainly heat and serve, but the more you know your way around a kitchen the better. We also do some on site catering and lots of errands and grocery shopping.
If you enjoy working in a small, yet fast paced, team orientated atmosphere we want to talk to you. We are looking for a person who has a big personality as well as a good dose of common sense. Barista experience is highly preferred and deli, catering or other food service experience is a big plus.
We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30am to 6:00pm and closed on the weekends. We are hiring mainly for the closing shift (noon - 6pm) for 3 to 4 days a week. However, during training the hours will vary and other shifts may be added at a later time.
Requirements:
Positive reference from past employers.
Organizational, time management and listening skills.
Ability to multi task and not just use it as a catch word.
Professional appearance and demeanor.
Ability to make smart, common sense decisions.
Clothing & Dress Requirements: all black
Position starts immediately.
