Under the supervision of the Senior Meals Program Manager, the Site Coordinator is a member of the team of staff who creates a positive working environment for volunteers who assist with food service in the Café 60 and Meals on Wheels delivery and contributes to a friendly companionable atmosphere for the participants and volunteers.
Duties include: recruiting, selecting, training, scheduling, and working with 2-10 volunteers that assist in serving 15-20 participants weekly at the Coburg Café 60 dining room; creating a welcoming atmosphere for participants and volunteers; maintaining required client and program records and depositing donations; preparing weekly meal orders and communicating with central kitchen; promoting Café 60 participation; recruiting volunteer; assisting with food service including portioning food and clean up; assisting other staff and volunteers as needed. No cooking is required. Year-round position. Works on Wednesdays from 8:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., for five hours per week, but also may be assigned to other Senior Meals locations throughout Lane County as needed.
